Someone (Sari Manion.) Tagged me on Facebook, to draw a sketch with mouse. Things got out of hand. :'D Adjusting wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. Might even be less horrible than switching painting program or shortcuts. In some aspects at least.
These are the Steps, so it's with initial sketch. The thing i was supposed to do..haha. Yeah.
A few tips: - If you want tapered or fading lines/strokes use "fade" in brush options. (For brush size and/or transperency, depending on what you are doing.) - Zoom in for smoother lines. The more you zoom out, the more jagged they become. - With painting, the transparency setting is your very best friend. (Also eyedropper, but you know that...I hope) - Using selections might also help. -I suppose, if you have the most horrible mouse ever, you could use paths. Or if you need that precision. (Didn't use them here.) Photoshop can trace them with fake brush-pressure.
It was supposed to be only a sketch, but it took waaay to long and kinda escalated....into this. I just...HAD to fix the hands and ...everything...a little... I could still go on fixing things but....yeah.
Random acrylic-overpainting, of another random tentacle painting from some time ago. Size circa A6. It's probably less colorful irl. I didn't see the point to spend time to make it look worse, though. Also there is a hole in the cardboard.
